Charity
Kilian Kerner is not only a designer with a strong creative vision but also a person with a big heart. He considers charity work a natural responsibility. Supporting Children for Tomorrow, the foundation created by Stefanie Graf, is particularly close to his heart. Kilian Kerner supports Children for Tomorrow by Stefanie Graf
On November 30, 2023, Stefanie Graf and Kilian Kerner met for a personal exchange in Hamburg. For Kilian Kerner, this was the fulfillment of a childhood dream that gave him courage and strength during particularly difficult times. Having experienced childhood trauma himself, he now wants to use the initiative to help others find strength as well.
The experiences of his own childhood are the reason why he wants to raise awareness and encourage others today. He can now use his platform to help bring more attention and awareness to this important cause.
Children for Tomorrow is a nonprofit foundation based in Hamburg, founded in 1998 by Stefanie Graf. It provides therapeutic treatment for children and adolescents who have become victims of war, displacement, and organized violence. Nearly half of all refugees worldwide are children and young people. Many have witnessed war in their home country, endured extreme violence during their escape, and suffered the loss of parents or other loved ones. Post-traumatic stress disorders, depression, sleep disturbances, and nightmares are often the devastating consequences.
Since time alone does not heal all wounds, Children for Tomorrow uses financial resources to support the therapeutic healing of trauma. The foundation provides psychotherapeutic treatment and other psychosocial support programs. Its mission is to assist young refugees in their mental development and help facilitate their integration into society.
Within this framework, the HonigHelden! project offers school-based psychotherapy for children with refugee backgrounds. This includes weekly individual therapy sessions as well as broader support programs. The approach is unique, as the German healthcare system does not provide for therapy in these locations—even though many children may not be able or willing to visit a clinic, leaving them without access to essential stabilization and support.
Kilian Kerner has admired Stefanie Graf ever since he first saw her play in the 1985 Berlin Final at the age of six. From that day on, he closely followed her career.
“Tennis and Stefanie Graf were an anchor for me. They gave me great strength throughout my childhood and youth. Her ambition and determination deeply impressed and inspired me. Even today, almost 39 years later, my admiration remains unwavering. The way she dedicates herself to her foundation and the children—calmly and unpretentiously, yet with unwavering ambition and commitment—is just as impressive as all of her victories in her extraordinary career."

United Against Cancer
In 2023, Kilian Kerner, together with his colleagues Rebekka Ruetz, Danny Reinke, and Marcel Ostertag, took a stand in the fight against cancer. Through a dedicated campaign, they raised awareness of the important work of the Deutsche Krebshilfe (German Cancer Aid) and encouraged people to register with DKMS as potential stem cell donors. Since then, Kilian Kerner has remained committed to raising awareness and continues to support organizations like Deutsche Krebshilfe.
A Statement for Peace
During his Fashion Week show in March 2022, Kilian Kerner and his models demonstrated against the war in Ukraine. The emotional finale featured a powerful video of over 100 people, each delivering the message STOP THE WAR. The campaign gained significant attention and helped raise a substantial amount through the sale of the PEACE Hoodie. All proceeds were donated to children affected by the war.
